Terms of Service
These terms describe the permitted use of AngryFriday Publisher, an owner-operated local utility for publishing content to an authorized YouTube channel.
1. Intended use
AngryFriday Publisher is maintained for the private use of its owner. It is not a public software-as-a-service product, does not accept public account registration, and does not provide a hosted video-upload interface.
2. Authorization
The utility may act only on a YouTube channel whose owner has granted access through Google OAuth. Authorization can be revoked at any time through Google Account settings.
3. Content responsibility
The channel owner is responsible for every uploaded file, title, description, thumbnail, caption, audience setting, synthetic-media disclosure, schedule, and publication decision. The owner must have all necessary rights and must ensure content complies with applicable law, the YouTube Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and YouTube API Services policies.
4. Prohibited use
The utility must not be used to publish unlawful or infringing content, impersonate another person, evade platform restrictions, manipulate engagement, distribute malware, or gain access to a channel without authorization.
5. Availability and platform actions
Publishing depends on the local computer, network access, Google OAuth, YouTube API quota, channel standing, and Google or YouTube platform decisions. Google or YouTube may delay, reject, restrict, remove, or reclassify content independently of this utility.
6. No warranty
The utility is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. No warranty is made that an upload, schedule, processing operation, or publication will complete without interruption. The private-first workflow reduces risk but does not replace review in YouTube Studio.
7. Suspension and termination
Use may be stopped at any time by revoking Google authorization, disabling the local worker, or removing the application. Published content remains managed through the authorized YouTube channel unless separately removed there.
8. Changes and contact
These terms may change as the utility or platform requirements evolve. The current version will remain posted here. Questions can be sent to privacy@angryfriday.com.
